Cheese Muffin

This muffin recipe a bit different from "normal muffin recipes " soft inside texture and is light golden.

Ingredients :
  • 175gr flour
  • 115gr unsalted butter
  • 150gr sugar
  • 100gr egg
  • 55ml water
  • 4gr baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
  • a bit of salt
  • Cheddar cheese cut into small cube.

Directions :

  1. Preheat oven to 160 C.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat the butter , water and salt, whisk until melted.
  3. In a small bowl add in flour and pour hot melted butter . Beat with medium speed till the batter warm.
  4. Add in vanilla powder
  5. Then add egg one by one
  6. Mix sugar and baking powder and add together into the batter.
  7. Add cheese.
  8. Spoon the batter into greased muffin tins, filling each cup half to two-thirds full and bake in a 160 C oven for about 25 mins. The top will turn a light golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven. Let cool on wire rack.
