Ingredients:
- 600g prawns
- 1/2 pieces of butter ( what i mean if you buy unsalted/salted butter in rectangular shape you cut half of it )
- 200-250gr of Corn Flour
- 50gr of Milk powder
- 1 egg
- Minced garlic 3 cloves
- 250 g of cereal
- 1 chilli padi chopped ( if you like spicy )
- 3-4 Curry leaves
- 1 tsp of sugar
- Dash of pepper
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of sesame oil
- Clean prawns, leave the shell on. Wipe dry and season in mixture of salt, pepper, a little sesame oil and a little sugar.
- Mix the corn flour with the milk powder.
- Beat the egg.
- Dip the prawns into the egg.
- Coat the prawns with the mixture of flour and milk powder.
- Deep fry the prawns. Leave aside after cooked.
- In a wok, melt the butter , minced garlic and add in curry leaves and chili padi. Cook till there is aroma.Put in the cereal and stir fry for a while and add the teaspoon of sugar.
Notes :
- Buy bigger prawns as they have better taste.
- When cooking the cereal, turn to small fire so as not to overcook them.
- Milk powder adds a bit of sweetness in the prawns so if you dont have milk powder its ok.
