Snow White Cookies
Some of my favorite cookies for christmas are nastar, kaastangels and putri salju (snow white cookies). for me snow white are some beautifully white cookies..... these snow-white cookies are made with ground peanuts and rolled in powdered (icing) sugar.
INGREDIENTS :
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cup flour
- 1 cup cashew nuts, chopped
- Icing sugar
DIRECTIONS : - Beat butter for 30 seconds.
- Add sugar and blend well.
- Add water and vanilla. Mix well.
- Put in flour and peanut.
- Roll into balls and shape into a crescent or other dimension to your liking.
- Place on greased cookies pan.
- Bake in oven for 15-20 minute.
- Take out from oven, and roll them into the icing sugar while still warm.
Corn flake Cookies
Have made some cornflake cookies few days ago....Gives you an elegant sensation in every bites and so crispy, so If you like little crunchy cookies, this one for you....
INGREDIENTS :
- 200gr butter
- 100gr granulated sugar
- 250gr all purpose flour
- 150gr cheddar cheese
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2tsp baking powder
- 130gr cornflake
DIRECTIONS :
- Preheat oven at 180C
- In mixing bowl beat butter and sugar , add egg yolks, beat until fluffly and pale.
- Add cheddar cheese, vanilla extract , baking powder and cornflake...mix well
- The last add flour and mix it.
- Take a bit of dough and roll it and place on greased cookies pan, press with fork and u can garnish with chocolate chip or cherry......
- Bake for about 30 minutes.
- Remove and place on wire rack .
- Let it cool completely and keep in an air tight container.

Chocolate Crinkles Cookies

I realized not so easy to make these cookies.....I made half recipe ....
Ok here's the recipe :
Chocolate Crinkles
Ingredients :
- 2Tsp unsalted butter
- 112gr DCC chopped
- 50gr granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 105gr all purpose flour
- 1/8 salt
- 1/4tsp baking powder
- 50gr confectioners sugar
Directions :
- Preheat oven to 170C.
- Whisk together flour, salt and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Melt butter and chocolate and put aside.
- Beat egg and sugar till thick,pale and fluffy.
- Pour in vanilla and stir in chocolate mixture.
- Add flour to chocolate mixture, mix well and cover with plactis wrap, refrigate around 4 hours (overnight should be better ).
- Roll a small amount of chilled dough to form a 1 inch diameter ball. Place the ball of dough into the confectioners sugar and roll the ball in the sugar until it is completely coated .
- Bake around 8-10 minutes or just until the edges are slightly firm but the centers are still soft.
- Remove from the oven and transfer to wire rack to cool.

Nastar (Must try AAA+++)

- 125gr margarine
- 125gr unsalted butter
- 50gr powdered sugar ( I use 75gr because I want it to be sweet )
- 2 egg yolks
- 350gr flour
- 2 Tsp milk powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Filling : pineapple jam (for me I always buy because I lazy to make lol)
Glaze :
- 2 egg yolks add in 1 Tsp evaporated milk, mix well
- Cheddar Cheese ( if you want of course, I'm not use it coz I make leaf shape if you make round shape this cheddar cheese should be good as your topping or you wanna change your toping then cloves can be used too).
Instructions :
- Preheat oven to 140 degrees C. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In the bowl of your electric mixer ( or with hand mixer ) cream the margarine + butter + sugar and eggs until light and fluffy, add in flour, milk powder and salt and mix well.
- Form the dough into small round, then use all your creativity and please decide wanna make round shape or leaf shape.....and fill in the filling.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheets spacing about 1 inch each.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, until golden. ( when half way of baking these cookies I take out from the oven and Brush the rolls with egg glaze).
- Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool for about 5 minutes.

Plain Oatmeal Cookies

Bahannya (buat 1/2 resep) :
- 1/2 cup shortening ( kaya mentega tapi warnanya putih bersih)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg kocok rata
- 1/2 sendok teh vanilla
- 3/4 cup tepung
- 1/2 sendok teh garam
- 1/2 sendok teh baking soda
- 1/2 cinnamon ( bubuk kayu manis )
- 1.5 cups oatmeal
Caranya :
- Kocok mentega, gula, telur dan vanilla kocok rata
- Ayak tepung, garam, baking soda, dan bubuk kayu manis
- Tambahkan ke adonan sebelumnya dan aduk rata
- Tambahkan oats
- Di baki loyang panggang, bentuk bulat pake sendok beri jarak ( jgn lupa loyang di alasi parchment paper)
- Panggang di oven yg sudah di panaskan 180 C, selama 20 menit, jgn lupa setiap 10 menit ubah posisi loyang biar terpanggang merata....
- Angkat dan dingin-kan.......

Chocolate cookies with kismis
- 1.5 cup tepung
- 1/2 sdt baking soda
- 1/2 sdt garam
- 200gr margarin
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup custar sugar
- 1 butir telur
- kismis or chocolate chip
ayak tepung bersama baking soda dan garam, sisihkan, di mangkuk lain kocok margarin, brown sugar and custar sugar sampai tercampur rata, tambahkan telur aduk lagi sambil ditambahkan tepung sedikit demi sedikit dan masukan chocolate chip, siapkan loyang yg sudah dialasi parchment paper, bentuk bulat kecil adonan tadi dengan menggunakan sendok beri jarak, kemudian panggand di oven 180 C selama kurang lebih 20-25 menit.

meringue....
bahan :
- 3 putih telur
- 3/4 ( 150gr)cup custar gula
- 1/4 tea spoon cream of tar tar
- 1/4 tea spoon vanilla extract ( bisa ganti vanilla essence)
panaskan oven dulu api 100c/212 F....
caranya : kocok putih telur dengan kecepatan low-medium sampai berbusa, tambahkan cream of tar tar, teruskan kocok sampai kaku agak lembut (soft peak), tambah gula sedikit sedikit teruskan mengocok sampai kaku ( very stiff peak), tambah vanilla....( mau tahu gimana nentuin kalo meringue itu udah stiff peak caranya ambil sedkit rasakan diantara ibu jari and telunjuk kalo ngk ada rasa kasar berarti meringue siap di panggang, kalau masih kerasa kasar berati gula belum benar2 hancur jadi lanjutkan mengocok sampe halus banget)
siapkan loyang panggang taruh parchment paper diatasnya bentuk meringue bisa juga pake sendok aja kalo ngk mau repot, tambahkan taburan kacang mete atau sprinkle something on top of it sesuka hati aja....
Panggang kira kira 1.5 sampe 2jam.....ditengah tengah memanggang jgn lupa balik posisi loyang yg depan ke belakang and sebaliknya...supaya kepanggang merata. matikan api, buka tutup oven biarkan sekitar semalam.....
